I need to lose some weight. I ate too much comfort food here recently. I had a donut (no more for a while), with peach yogurt and a banana with some raspberries and blueberries. - I had a piece of bean pie (No NOI) with some veggies and couscous - I had some pasta
Chicken on a roll with tomato, lettuce and a little mayonaise. Right now I'm eating a lovely ice cold slice of watermelon. Later I'll have some yoghurt, a bit more fruit and tonight (sooo looking forward to it) a pork chop with steamed veges. *drools* Yum, yum, yum.
I started WW, so I ate a lot of good stuff today. My Christmas present was my doctor telling me that after two years of strict 'no exercise', my carnitine levels are up and I can start getting in small workouts (2-3 sessions per week on the elliptical for NO MORE than 30 minutes). YAY! My first week on, I lost 6lbs. Today I ate: egg white scramble with spinach, mushrooms, and a sprinkle of monterey jack cheese chai latte (skim milk, truvia) v8 high fiber juice WW English muffin, toasted, lightly buttered turkey bacon turkey sandwich on wheat with spinach and mustard vegetable soup strawberries yogurt chicken souvlaki pita sandwich w spinach and yogurt dill sauce grilled veggies WW chocolate creme mini cake snacks throughout the day (and after my workout!) lime cracker chips and organic salsa banana with almond butter apple orange
Good for you DB! I need to join you. My ass is trying to lose like 20 lbs by April. I ended up gaining a few lbs and went past my usual weight as of late... Good luck!
Thank you, IB! I am really excited about it - and cautiously optimistic. Since they don't know that much about my disease, they're hoping that this works. While I'll probably not be in my official healthy weight range, doc and I are hoping to I can shed a good chunk! You can lose 20lbs by April! :smt038 Especially if you eat the way Tarshi does..LOL (Love ya Tarshi, I dunno how you do it!) My goal is 15lbs by the time I leave for my trip in March, and since I'm already down 6lbs, I think that's looking good. There are three of us in my office doing WW together, so that helps.
