Because I could give a fuckless about being liked. As far as my persistence of the past that's now pretty much gone. Its usually fruitless and I've also recently relinquished my need to be right so I'm good with whatever.

I'll keep an eye out for that. Just to be sure if you're truly a man of your word.

The history of a word alone does not determine its offensiveness. If someone, or in this case a group of people, say 'that word is highly offensive to me'. Why is that alone not reason enough to not use it? What are you looking to accomplish in taking up this crusade, Randall?

It's just a matter of respect.

Because its totally fake outrage and I refuse to acknowledge it. If they aren't up in arms about words like bitch or pussy or some of the other things said that could be synonymous with depictions of female and/or their genitalia then this is another word I deem usable. I refused to be censored just because they decide they want to be. The ignore function still works homie.

Edit: and to be honest it comes off as totally insincere. Its right up there with white people who compare honky to nigger to foster some fake outrage knowing very damn well it doesn't bother them. Just like certain members tried to do with the word cracker. It comes across as if they're looking for something with which they call victim. I wont play that game.

It's not censorship, it's respect. Censorship is imposed by outside forces (the government, board admins, etc.,.). Respect comes from within oneself.

Don't you think white people can say the same about the 'N' word? That it's illogical for black people to get so offended by it when they use it, considering we've embraced it so much that it can now be seen as a part of black-American culture?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this logic says we should all be free to walk around freely using offensive language toward one another, provided the word doesn't carry a genocidal history?

Well, carry on my spear-chucking tar baby.

No problem you dread headed jiggaboo lol

But in all seriousness from my perspective in essence being told to not say cunt is on the same level of other bad language like the seven things you can't say on television. Its language some would rather no hear but to compare to the n word is what annoyed me. There is a constant leveling on this forum with certain who try to make being a white woman at any point in this country the same as being a bm and simply isn't. Like I said earlier its like comparing a rifle to a bomb. Both are weapons but definitely not the same. But I see we'll have to respectfully disagree fam.

I've taken several high level English classes in school. I know what I'm referring to. There is more than one way of using words or phrases.

You have either realized this before I made my post and decided to argue for the sake of argument, or you simply don't realize it because you just aren't academically smart enough to interpret it. Again, it rightfully leads me to question the intellect level of some people on here.

You'll probably respond again with some lame excuse or justification, so I would suggest not responding to this message, just admit you made an error in your judgement.

both are weapons and they are made to hurt people. just like the word cunt and nigger. so just because cunt is a rifle and nigger is a bomb both hurt. so chill.

I posted this will happen and you people wouldnt listen. I was the bad guy so now this is what you get.....another misogynist.

when you allow someone to bash a demographic (and its not yours err ok to bash errr black women) it will sooner or later came back on you and they will bash you. I saw the shit coming and I tried to warn you mofos. so dont go all out of DK look at your damn selves for this one. you are partially to blame for this shit.

now this dude is moonwalking on his shit. damn.

We are still on this? I would like to thank myself for just ignoring the person and moving on.

Kudos on knowing the difference between an MLA format and an APA format... I am sure any idiot can understand context. But, with all things offensive, it isn't always what a person meant, but how a person takes it. So, I guess when a group of white people refer to you as NI**a you will be fine because they meant it in a kind way right?

In regards to admitting I made an error, that is a sad attempt at making me conform to your opinion. I personally am not concerned with it. So, really, no need to reply to this, because you and a few others quite obviously do not understand.

Don't ever presume to know how I feel, whether it be insincere, falsely outraged or anything else, TDK.
