Great pic Christine. It looks like it could be a poster for an movie. Something like "Attack of the Pigeons":smt025 Beautiful photos KB. Absolutely stunning aerial shots. Amazing actually.
Thanks you two. It should be a surreal scenery and mostly I do it with wild animals, but this time I've seen that Pic directly in front of my eyes... and yes De Niro you described my intention very well (it was the imagination of "Sherlock Holmes and the pigeon murderer in London", so it's a mix of Bliss' and your imagination..lol..
a pic I've seen,yesterday. Mitch Dobrowner,winner of the coveted L’Iris d’Or 2012 hope you don't have it already,BDN
:smt023 No Christine, I don't have it. Thank you for posting it. It really is an awesome photo.:smt038 Very chilled pic KB. This would def be a spot where you go on vacation to get away from everybody.
Bliss, do you know how that big cat is called? It looks like a lion, but he is black.. Northern lights are spectacular, I've never seen one personally in nature. Fantastic finds!
Beautiful pics, Blissy. :smt003 I love this pic, but I did see an article earlier this week about this (and another pic)...it's actually photoshopped. I'll have to try to find the link again, but I did save the pics... I love this one, Christine! :smt038
Ok, you know what? PHOTOSHOP sucks! I don't have it or have ever used it, so I don't appreciate its incredibly deceptive powers, but damn that shit looked real. :smt022
I know what you mean. When I saw the article, what I noticed first was the pic you posted and got excited. Then I started reading, and the excitement turned into disappointment.
LOL..photoshop is a good thing, it is a very creative instrument for digital photography. But to change the colour of a lion is nonsense..for what? But if you look at Nick Brandts pictures..he is working with photoshop and is drawing on the pic and the result is a wonderful art work.
Creative...or deceptive -- I guess it depends contextually. It's one thing to enhance, to add vibrancy or color, even to remove minor flaws, but it's become an illusion monster in some regards to the authenticity of some things. I love Nick Brandt's aniimal photography. :smt045 :smt023
Nick Brandt is an amazing photog/artist. I don't have an issue with photoshopping depending on how/why it's used. When it's used to turn something into something else claiming it's real (like the lion hoax or poorly done work), I don't like it.
Would you feel comfortable swimming in there? What if some force sucked you in….to the center of the earth?
I'd never heard of the salt flats until I saw an article a few days ago. It refereed to them as the mirror salt flats. Some of the pics look like folks are walking or riding in the sky. [HDYT]eacwLX5_qb4[/HDYT] [HDYT]I0qyHG5XWqk[/HDYT] [HDYT]2rJujJ7WQKk[/HDYT]
