I love this photo you took simply for the fact that in such a small frame, you captured the 'Swissness' of your European city in the street light, the birds (pigeons?) and the black post(?). The clouds too almost look like faraway Swiss mountains.

It should be a surreal scenery and mostly I do it with wild animals, but this time I've seen that Pic directly in front of my eyes... and yes De Niro you described my intention very well (it was the imagination of "Sherlock Holmes and the pigeon murderer in London", so it's a mix of Bliss' and your imagination..lol..

LOL..photoshop is a good thing, it is a very creative instrument for digital photography. But to change the colour of a lion is nonsense..for what? But if you look at Nick Brandts pictures..he is working with photoshop and is drawing on the pic and the result is a wonderful art work.

Creative...or deceptive -- I guess it depends contextually. It's one thing to enhance, to add vibrancy or color, even to remove minor flaws, but it's become an illusion monster in some regards to the authenticity of some things.

Nick Brandt is an amazing photog/artist. I don't have an issue with photoshopping depending on how/why it's used. When it's used to turn something into something else claiming it's real (like the lion hoax or poorly done work), I don't like it.

I'd never heard of the salt flats until I saw an article a few days ago. It refereed to them as the mirror salt flats. Some of the pics look like folks are walking or riding in the sky.
