This is going to sound bad, but has anyone used Tinder before to hook-up? Im curious because I have the app but I'm a bit afraid to use it...

I've used it before but just to see what it's about and to find out exactly what the craze is supposed to be. I've never actually met anyone on there, though.

Yep. On the other hand I'm not really looking to meet anyone on there, I'm just checking it out for fun. A few people have chosen me and I've chosen them but I'm not really putting a whole lot into it. It seems like more of a speed dating type thing than anything else.

I don't know if all of what she's saying is true/accurate or not but this doesn't sound very good...

It's funny because there are a lot of women on there that act like it isn't a hook up app.

Then they're either naïve, or playing dumb to try and hide the fact that they themselves are actually fine with just a hook up. Everyone knows what tinder is, and if they don't then they probably have no business being on it

I'm very late to the party but I joined Tinder last night. Lots of highly attractive women on there unlike other free dating apps and sites. I got a few matches already but I'm not messaging anyone..... I think an good amount of these women are either fake profiles or plain attention whores.

I'd never heard of Tinder until this thread was created.

And not everyone thinks online dating sites are only for hook-ups. Some people (mistakenly, apparently) think you can actually meet someone to fall in love with on a dating site.
