I only watch the kings lol. I love hockey but my hearts only in it for LA Haha I was there with ya! LA > NY every damn day
Ok, so NOW y'all pretend to care about hockey.... it's Ok, I'd be doing the same if the Blackhawks made it. And yes, LA > NY. Not just in hockey, but in everything..
Such a smart man you are. Ftr...this born and raised Los Angelean has always been a kings girl! It's in my blood. My whole fam was at the game, we don't mess around with our loyalty in LA!
Funny I read on here that y'all are talking about hockey now. I JUST finally managed to track down tickets for the Calder Cup playoffs! AHL, yay It'll make for a good date night! Two more sleeps till he gets here.
Yay!! I was just thinking about you the other day, figuring it had to be close! Hope y'all have a fabulous time!
My tummy is doing flops, I'm so excited I cannot sleep. I have to work until 5 tomorrow, then once I get off, it's straight to the airport. the work day is going to go so slowly, but I can finally have the hug I've been wanting since the end of last July. I'm worse than a little kid on Christmas eve.
My department takes people out for a birthday lunch. Basically, the person/people get to choose where we all go, and then we all pitch in and pay for their lunch. My birthday lunch (including 2 other people) is today. Someone else chose Red Robin as the restaurant. We hadn't been there in a really long time. I was excited. Then today, I decided to peruse their menu online and discovered that if you click on an item to learn more info about it you can "customize it". I clicked on that link to customize the Whiskey River BBQ Chicken sandwich that I love. Well, I won't be getting that sandwich today as it contains more fat than you're supposed to have in a day, almost all of the sodium content you should have in a day and it's almost 1,000 calories. And that's not even including the fries that come with it. Now, I'm super depressed. I had to look for something else and discovered that if I want to get out of there alive and under the RDA for all of that crap, I can have a Caesar Salad with no chicken and no dressing. Fun times. This blows. I'm glad they are required to put nutritional values on menus now, but DAMN, it doesn't make it any less depressing. Can't restaurants find a way to make sandwiches, etc taste good and be less than 750 calories? It's ridiculous. You can't even order a SALAD at a restaurant, because it's not healthy. So, the tip for the day, if you are on a diet, eating out is a BIG no-no.
