Agreed! I guess I'm doomed to only sleep good for 3-4 weeks a year :smt089 It definitely improves the quality of sleep though!

Working 3rd shift leaves your sleep habits fucked. I try to simulate the night making my room dark but it's just not the same...

Still West coast and oldies mainly, but I'm really getting into modern funk music, as it's seen a revival recently. Wanna start getting into Blues. ... like original bless though. Getting back into my jpop too.

 

Never seen Patrice ' stand up, but I've heard him on ope Opie and Anthony and dude was pretty funny.

 

Going with four of my girlfriends to go visit one of our closest girlfriend in Richmond this weekend. Shortly after submitting her retirement papers for the Navy, she found out she has breast cancer. So it's going to be a weekend full of tears and sadness but also joy because we know she is strong she will pull through. We planned a really nice surprise dinner for her on Sunday, and she knows absolutely nothing...

I went down to visit by myself last weekend and she's in good spirits despite circumstances.

Doesn't have a clue we are coming down.

Observation:

If as I predict Hillary gets the nomination for her side, the Republicans will have to dump the "two-white-guys-on-the-ticket" model if they want to win (they won't). Hillary is poised to win every group that Obama won and add to that total by picking up a larger share of the white female vote.

Ponder the possibility of a black running mate with Rand Paul (unlikely) or another white male/white female (more likely) ticket. Unlike 2008, the GOP will have to vet the hell out of the female VP candidate to ensure that they don't wind up with another dumbass like Palin or nutjob like Michelle Bachmann. So the question is who is the prominent Republican female candidate that would fit the bill for 2016?
