Maybe that why our sleep habits are fucked up....

Yeah, not enough fuckin'! :p

Y'all need more sex. It may not add hours to your sleep schedule but it'll definitely improve the quality of the sleep you get! I don't get 8 hours but the time I do get, I'm knocked the hell out ;) You're welcome.

Agreed! I guess I'm doomed to only sleep good for 3-4 weeks a year :smt089 It definitely improves the quality of sleep though!

Yep...where are all the experts chiming in on this topic...it is actually really bad for your long term health to not be getting sufficient sleep...tsk...tsk:p

Working 3rd shift leaves your sleep habits fucked. I try to simulate the night making my room dark but it's just not the same...

When times are shitty and I'm in a shitty mood, I can always rely on music, the gym or the hilarity of Bill Burr and Louis CK to keep my dumb ass from snapping.

Love Burr and CK still miss the hell out of Patrice though.

Still West coast and oldies mainly, but I'm really getting into modern funk music, as it's seen a revival recently. Wanna start getting into Blues. ... like original bless though. Getting back into my jpop too.

Going with four of my girlfriends to go visit one of our closest girlfriend in Richmond this weekend. Shortly after submitting her retirement papers for the Navy, she found out she has breast cancer. So it's going to be a weekend full of tears and sadness but also joy because we know she is strong she will pull through. We planned a really nice surprise dinner for her on Sunday, and she knows absolutely nothing...

I went down to visit by myself last weekend and she's in good spirits despite circumstances.

Doesn't have a clue we are coming down.

that's what's going on with me.

That sounds like a good weekend. Being able to lift someone's spirits, that's the important part. :smt023

Observation:

If as I predict Hillary gets the nomination for her side, the Republicans will have to dump the "two-white-guys-on-the-ticket" model if they want to win (they won't). Hillary is poised to win every group that Obama won and add to that total by picking up a larger share of the white female vote.

Ponder the possibility of a black running mate with Rand Paul (unlikely) or another white male/white female (more likely) ticket. Unlike 2008, the GOP will have to vet the hell out of the female VP candidate to ensure that they don't wind up with another dumbass like Palin or nutjob like Michelle Bachmann. So the question is who is the prominent Republican female candidate that would fit the bill for 2016?

The only one smart enough just joined the view...

If republicans were to look for a minority to couple on that ticket, what would be your best guess right now?

Who's new on the view?

Did we talk about retiring Eric Holder in another thread already, especially since he just told Katie Curic he want sure when he was stepping down?
