It's simple...people want what they're not supposed to have. I think it was less about the dick, and more about the risk, that attracted them. Jmo

There were no victims here except for the families that were affected by this whole thing. The three individuals here....they were getting their medicine. And another note....I am quite appalled that they keep throwing the word victim around. I remember being 16 once and not once did I feel like my emotions were confusing, nor would I doubt I'd suffer from long term trauma.

Dave Chappelle said it best during his stand up when he talked about R. Kelly and the fifteen year old...."How old is fifteen?"

To be honest, I think we're being too prudish on numbers.

The first comment on this article at Gawker sums up my feelings perfectly:

And this goes double for the 32-year old, who is literally twice that kid's age.

That statement is so contradictory to the fact that men and women are different. We react differently to men and women in these situations because at 16 sixteen boys are usually on the hunt and actually want just sex where as most girls want relationships where someone treats them like they're special, there's no manipulation going with the boys and probably is with the girls. The professional conduct is the biggest crime here because you're teaching kids not to trust authority figures/adults not to mention brings other adults under scrutiny for shit they would never do.
A sixteen year old guy having a three way with two pretty women is not a victim unless there was some type of coercion, but I am pretty damn sure he enjoyed himself. And what's even weirder to me is that just a century ago he would have had a family of his own most likely and in a year would be allowed to lay his life down for his country but having sex with older women makes him a victim? They should be fired and not allowed to work in schools anymore but that should be about it.

I enjoyed a lot of stuff when I was 16 that I guess I'm supposed to regret that I don't. A threesome with two relatively attractive teachers would probably top that list.

There are also plenty of 16-year old girls who really want to have sex and who do have sex and enjor\y, but that doesn't mean that it's a good idea. And it damn sure doesn't mean that a teacher-any teacher-has any business having sex with them no matter how badly the child wants it (and no matter how old/mature/smart a 16-year old thinks they are, they're still children).

That's the entire rationale behind statutory rape laws: children aren't capable of giving consent to have sex, regardless of gender. Any adult who takes advantage of a child sexually should be treated like the predators that they are, regardless of gender. Teenage boys are no smarter or more sophisticated than teenage girls are.

    I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying it's awesome.

Those teachers do belong behind bars, absolutely.

And yes, there is a huge amount of double-standard at play here. Not saying that's right either.

Seems weird that if he were two years older it would be a non issue even though he could be tried as an adult.

Actually, that's a point that I hadn't considered too. This idea that a certain age qualifies us ALL as having reached a level of a maturity where we are able to make certain life decisions is flawed in itself.

Hate to break it to you, but at a 16 year old jock having sex isn't uncommon

Whether you think he's old enough to have sex or not, someone was getting teabagged that night

Laws are laws, but yes I agree these age laws are pretty stupid

Is there some sort of magical transformation that takes place when someone turns 18, as opposed to being 17?

    Same for drinking laws

You can be 18 to take a bullet for your country (god bless America), but 21 to drink?

But you know people will be sheep and continue to follow blindly

There's a reason for different ages of consent, alcohol consumption and so forth, across the globe, but americans continue to think that there way is the right way

Like my mom told me when I was 16

If you start having sex, just make sure to use protection

I don't have a problem with teenagers who want to have sex; that's natural and thanks to hormones and puberty it's pretty much unavoidable. My problem is with adults who take advantage of kids who want to have sex.
