Dudes who do that crap are behaving the way horny chicken-choking dick-exposing inmates do toward female correctional officers. I typically laugh at or make snide remarks about their little friend, and then I lay into their stupid asses. I also block their numbers. I don't typically put them on blast (I do threaten to do it though, lol), but I will if I feel it's necessary. Although there are some women who enjoy that skanky approach (God only knows why), I'm for damn sure not one of them.

I don't understand the obsession either. There is no future, they have nothing to offer. Cannot do anything significant for you to better your life. A few months ago I read and article (can't remember the site) where a female prison guard met a man who was in prison serving a ten year sentence, I think it was for manslaughter. Anyway, she took one look at him and she somehow, some way realized that was the one. Last I heard they were living happily ever after once he got released. I'm not trying to hate on anybody in the system but damn, you can't tell me that there's not one person on the outside that she could be dating? Not even one? Meanwhile my ass is sitting at home alone. Looks like I need to go pull off a robbery or something. *click clack*
I've read some stuff about this (in school, not cause I was interested LOL) There are all sorts of interesting theories, and some that are not. But typically the thought is that the women actually prefer the men NOT be getting out (thus all the huge demand for the death row inmates - go figure!) Some of the thoughts are - they know where they are at all times, there is an odd sense of control and stability. They feel the men are "devoted to them". Often they will write all sorts of long romantic letters and such. And there's also an element of being the prisoners "savior" of sorts. They also don't have to deal with a real day to day relationship with their partner, but they still feel they are in a relationship.
