Oh, mama, one of my favourites...also syrup sponge, spotted dick or a rich rice pudding made with full cream. Apple crumble tastes amazing with some cinammon, that's another English dessert. Or my mum used to make exploding apples, apples filled with sugar and spices, baked and covered in custard.

    exploding apples!!!

that sounds like something I want to add to my repertoire for sure!!!!

If I think about it....maybe I can work it into a breakfast!

Hopefully the taste and smell is way better to me than the appearance of it. I say this because, I've never had it before.

You know how they say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? My female friends have told me that the reverse is true.

Since the age of 19, I've always cooked meals for my dates and they've loved it. I guess it shows that the man is able to take care of himself, and is able to cook something other than instant noodles.

I think the ability to cook in a guy also means that in the relationship, if the couple want's to "eat in" then the woman is not doomed to doing all the cooking and it only goes one way.

I'ts nice to cook for someone else for sure, but food tastes better when it's made by someone else who's a competent cook.

Actually, there IS something to it. Men are more inclined to develop feelings for a woman if she can cook for him than a woman is for a man. Yes, I said it. I believe this because it seems true in many cases.

Well, in my experience, the two men that I have dated who were the best cooks are the ones that I fell the hardest for!! I remember my ex actually seducing me with his culinary skills!! And oh boy did it work!! I still remember exactly what he prepared for me on the very first night he cooked for me and that was 9 years ago!!

So... in my case, the way to my heart is DEFINITELY through my stomach!

I love cooking for someone... too bad I've only had the dog to cook for for the past few years.

One advantage of living in the country... I have farm fresh eggs, home grown smoked cured bacon, 1" thick cut porkchops in the fridge... fresh herbs growing just outside the kitchen, a garden full of sweet onions, tomatos, sweet corn, okra, you name it.

My fav breakfast to fix up... potato chunks skillet fried in sweet cream salted butter, chopped onions, chopped garlic, and fresh rosemary.... scrambled eggs with some chorizio and queso fresco, onions and bell pepper.... homemade buttermilk biscuits... and fresh squeezed orange juice. mmm

My Chihuahua hopes I remain single for all eternity. He looks like a stuffed sausage now.
