Because Black culture is simply dark skin, entertainment, and clothing. I'm sorry but these people are weird. I don't care much for "positive" stereotypes anymore than I do negative ones. Although the fact that these people are on the other side of the globe and rarely leave makes it not much of a problem.
These people basically come off like yellow wiggers. Nothing cool about being objectified and fetishized. Do these people know anything about African-American history? Or the discrimination we deal with today? Do they know about African-American contributions to the world outside of entertainment, sports, and hip-hop fashion?? When they talk to African-Americans are they able to hold any discussions regarding Black issues outside of the entertainment industry or sports? Somehow I doubt it.

3. The Japanese have been down with black folk for years. I modeled in japan for about 5 years....they are cool with us. If you want to see hip hop in its purest form go to tokyo, or Hiroshima. Hip Hop with out the violence over Jordans.

truth be known, they actually DON'T. They see us as too big, too long, painful. Which is a common complaint that they have against Japanese men. Sex is not passionate and enjoyable. If you dig deep enough you will find that Japanese culture is in danger of falling about because of lack of marriage, and child birth.

Most Asians (outside of the us) that come to the US date white men. A couple of reason. They are consolidated by the Europe since of beauty and masculinity. And there are more white men than any race in the US. And the black culture is rather secluded.

....sometimes a fad will wash over the whole country and be over with in MONTHS. In america the life span of fashion fad is a year...sometimes longer. For example the pinty heeled shooes is one that lasted at least 5 years.
