After doing some forum digging, i realized i WAS totally off the mark and I apologize for that. You and CYN1988 both make valid points. I just know where my head is at right now, and right now, i'm just not feelin the idea. If it is indeed fear, well so be it. I know that i've been through some tough shit already, and I didn't like it. At all. So yeah, I like to think that i take preventative measures to keep feeling like I did then to a minimum.

...you know a lot of people blame M.A.R.R.I.A.G.E. for the reasons why couples don't work out falsely believing that "Well if I don't get married I won't have to go through all of the bullshit". Which is false.

A marriage is nothing more than a formal promise.......that's it.

When people say "its not for me" I always ask "So making a formal promise to the woman you want to share you wife with is not for you? In any event. People don't want to get married, and that's cool....but a lot of people are simple not honest about the real reasons.
