Help me out....

Hey people,

Just joined the site...*waves*.eager to have some good discussions..

Here's my situation:

I'm a 25 year old SBM living in the SF bay area. I work a pretty crazy schedule (10-12 hours a day 6x a week) so I don't have alot of free time to meet people. Furthermore, I have more of a chill, homebody personality than a super party goer, even though I do sometimes go to a bar or a club. I usually just chill out and people watch or have a convo or two with people. I know I'm a good dude with a good head on my shoulders, but I'm having a hard time finding a situation where I can find a good match for me. For the longest time I have been against dating through friends because I saw drama in it..I'm starting to open up to that idea though. I noticed I have grown tired of casual engagements, and yearn for something with more depth..


I posted a online profile in an effort to be more efficient. Here's what I have:


I'm a mystery man of great travels and would like to share my travel stories with the right lady..

Mixture of casual and patience, I crave for excitement.

Seen my favorite artist perform in Tokyo.
Scuba dived in Hawaii.
Explored ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico.
Adopted a cat while in Rome.
Enjoyed the view atop the Eiffel tower in Paris.
and partied with rock stars in London.

I love meeting people from other cultures, and pride myself on having an ever-expanding worldview.

Music is a major part of my life, and I play guitar for my rock band. Dabble in Piano and Drums, you'll catch me listening to Classical, to Jazz, and REAL Hip-Hop!

I consider myself spiritual and enjoy learning about Divinity, Astrology,History and things of that nature. I am essentially appreciative of anything of sincere beauty (but what would one expect from a Capricorn with Libra influence??)

I have a great job at a very well known "Fruit" company that I love! I'm also a musician and very happy to use my creativity. Have you traveled? I'm always planning a trip and would love to hear your experiences.

I am a fan of women that are a nice mix of humor, intelligence, and passion

Are you a lady who is up for an adventure and see where things go?




I'm wondering what should I change about my situation to increase my chances? Should I spend my free time at particular types of events and places? I'm not particularly exclusive to white women..I am ok with nay race...I just feel white women resonate with my personality more..

Jetset, the intro was wonderful and backed up with great pics too. I think you'll have no problems meeting someone with that perspective.

Consider jumping into the forums and the chat room here - it's a great way to socialize :D

I can't really answer why I am single..which is kinda what makes me feel bad when I get the reaction that I have gotten from all you fine people so far. I have actually started talking to someone I think I would really vibe with so let's see how that goes :)

Dont analyze it and dont feel bad, it is not that easy to find a great match AND chemistry AND timing....
Give it time, relax and have fun - you seem to have a great life!!! - eventually you'll meet somebody

Yeah, usually someone in your predicament doesn't have an answer to that question. lol

But good luck! If she don't work out, I told you...come to Houston and I'll hook you up. haha.
