So based on that I take it Kelvin is the actual love interest and the other guy is unrequited.
You are not familiar with Cyrano?

I've heard of Cyrano of course but I'm not deeply knowledgeable. You are not familiar with Cyrano?
Out this friday on October 15th.Upon the death of her grandfather, a woman(Rachel Nichols) and her husband(Yohance Myles) return to her birthplace in Germany's Black Forest, only to find a terrifying secret awaits them.
From the movie: "Venus as a Boy" featuring former miss USA universe contestant Olvia Culpo:
Apparently there's interracial angle in the new sopranos movie. According to the spoilers from the people that saw it in UK. I won't spoil more, cause the movie is coming out on HBO Max today.
Yes indeed. Like l said before we got to list the lR art of movies,tv,and stream ones that live up to our expectations. So glad I didn't pay actual money to see this in theaters. The narrative was so disjointed for one thing. But this IR angle was so insulting and deflating for those hungry to see any representation of BM/WW. Don't believe the hype, the filmmakers and writers didn't do us any favors with this sub-sub-subplot. She pretty much said she slept with him out of curiosity of sleeping with a black man, wondering if it would be different. And the suggestion seemed to be that black guys weren't any better than Italian studs or maybe not their equal. She never had any true feelings for Odom's character and even claimed she only slept with him that one time, likely largely out of spite. Her true love obviously was for the lead character, a married man who for years denied her business dreams and had to hide her from public. But he's a WHITE MAN so it was worth wanting him anyway. Fuck David Chase. The only thing that I give props to regarding that storyline was that it was on-point in depicting the uncontrollable rage a white guy would display in learning that his fucking mistress slept with a Negro. This was the purest example of the type of IR portrayal that this board hates to see.
Also I still don't get the Leslie Odom hype. He is on of those black actors who is always getting roles, more so than better options. But he is not threatening to white male Hollywood. He is an average or less than average size guy with average looks.
Very cool, nice to see olivia in that kind of role
It's a Soprano prequel were you expecting a love story? But I do agree fuck David Chase. I will say that Odom's character was shitting on them mafia dudes. So glad I didn't pay actual money to see this in theaters. The narrative was so disjointed for one thing. So having on screen romance with a black guy isn't good enough because basically find a partner isn't a strong message for women, they can be happy without a guy but in real life dating isn't a problem and she kiss this "handsome" manIronically in that movie she chose to be happy an single over being with David in that movie. lol.
I don't know if she is like Ali Larter or not, but you would think a woman who is in a relationship with a musician(she's dating Chris Martin) would relate to a movie about falling in love with a... MUSICIAN! lol.
But that interview was just another example of how even though we are seeing more IR between bm/ww on screen it's still not very respected in hollywood including by the very people playing the roles. I guarantee you if her character was lgbt she would've took every second of that interview to pander and recognize the beauty of lgbt relationships and PROUD to put it out on screen.

By the way, i think her next movie is some period drama with Henry Golding( Half Asian/British) and some white actor. I'm sure she won't downplay the romance or kiss scene with them.
Looking forward to MacBeth. One of my favorite Shakespearean plays.A new teaser trailer for Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand's Shakespearean drama is out.
