Who asks weirder questions white Americans or white Europeans?

Both could ask the most stupid questions so it would be hard to give a definite answer.

I do say white Americans hands down. I can tolerate questions from women who come from European countries where there are practically no black guys. American women on the other, should have no reason to ask me stupid questions.

I agree with you infiniti, the European woman doesnt have much experience with blacks so it is a unique and curious questioning. While white americans know the history of this country and experience blacks and black culture through media if they dont know blacks. they see us and havent a need to asking absurd questions.

The thing is most white americans don't have much experience with blacks either so for them it is like living in a white country. I mean there are people in America who have never even seen a black person in real life and that live in a major city. Which is crazy but it kinda helps you understand. Honestly though the thing a white person should say is to sincerely convey they just don't know and understand black people and would like to know more, ofcourse without saying something stupid first.

If you think about it, Taye, the white Americans don't really have any excuse for it, since they are HERE in the same country, and can easily educate themselves on black people, mainly us here in the states, so I also think that MOST of them are just being stupid, if not only naive, and besides, the media isn't enough for them to go on about us anyway, whether they understand that or not.

Still overall blacks in this country are hella segregated from everyone else. Even though that is still no excuse for outrageous questions about blacks.

alot of it is self segregation as well

Yup, and once again, the white AMERICANS have NO EXCUSE for it.

I was having an interesting discussion with a friend of mine the other day and we were talking about to the degree white people in this country were racist or considered racist and if blacks and other minorities can be racist. But ultimately it boiled down to a question that I would like pose to most of you. Do you think that white people being ignorant of REAL black culture makes them inherently racist (line of thinking that blacks are inferior not overtly) or does that just make them ignorant cause they don't understand. Cause it is funny when I hear black people that I know complain about the lack of understanding from whites, then go ahead and insult Mexicans,Asians, Indians, Middle Easterners and say some real OUTLANDISH borderline hateful stuff. blacks folks even say crazy stuff about bi-racial people that make me go  wow

Yes, ignorance usually breeds hatred. Alot of people in this country currently are saying all kinds of hateful things against middle Easterner's. The problem arises when we let others represent us with negative stereotype's same thing is happening with Middle Easterners, Hispanics, etc. People see 50 cent, osama bin laden, david duke, etc and think they represent the culture because they are the ones shouting the loudest and getting the publicity.

No, I think that white Americans being ignorant of our culture makes them racist, especially if they think we are the inferior and ignorant ones, don't you think?

And, the mud-slinging goes every other way around, so I'm not surprised.

Well I say it's about damned time black people learn how to be prejudiced without losing any sleep. All the other races seem to be doing perfectly fine when they openly admit to seeing black men as either lazy, shiftless, degenerate criminals and sex-crazed monsters buffoons and/or comic relief. I won't deny them the element of truth to their prejudices (as there are quite a number bm, including a few in this forum, that are living caricatures of these stereotypes) but I certainly won't sit around and allow others to deny me that same benefit, and that somehow a black person's prejudices towards other groups are somehow magically "outlandish" and borderline hateful lacking factual basis.

And so damn what if a black man decides prejiducely against other races. Do you honestly think any of these groups in question are losing any sleep over some black person's prejudices?

And how many times must it be stated that

Racism is where the MONEY and POWER lies, not in the magically "outlandish" borderline hateful beliefs, whether they are substantiated by fact or not.

Show me a part of the US, or any part of the world for that matter, where other races are living in extreme poverty and abject filth immediately next door to majority black (or other equally despised) population living in opulence and luxury, asking stupid questions about why other races can't succeed, and I'll show you a potential race riot in the making.....

It's 21st century, and blacks are still finding ways to justify the behaviors and attitudes of others that couldn't care less about them.
