I had to work out on our Production Floor today by the contractors. So, I had to go by the contractor that I have a feeling has a crush on me.

I say to him, "hey you're in my way" in a joking manner.

His reply, "maybe I want to be in your way".

Hello everyone I'm new here there wasn't a place for new people to introduce themselves (or maybe I could not find it) so I decided to jump in here. I'm 31 male from New Orleans Louisiana hoping to talk with some cool people. Don't think I have to explain why I'm here the name of the site says it all.

I have absolutely no motivation to do anything lately. I have a messy house, and I think I'm too ADD to do it. That, and even though I moved in at the beginning of January, I'm still unpacking and trying to find the 'right' home for things.

I can empathize with you Dreaming, unpacked boxes make me crazy. When I move I have to unpack everything the day I move in, and have it all put up. I was hanging paintings at 4 am the last time, but it looked like home by the time everyone else rolled out of bed.

 

Well, I usually try to do that...but I bought my house and had little or no money to buy stuff to fill it...so lots of boxes have been sitting unopened or rifled through because of that.

I'm hoping to get it all done soon though...I have houseguests coming in a couple of weeks! :smt105:shock:

I'm considering the idea of starting my master degree in Cultural Antropgology, Ethnology and Ethnolinguistics.... I was like... crying when I saw that new degree.... I wanna do it!!!!
But the point is: do I really feel like studying more then what I already did so far? do I feel like spending money? Uhm.....

Oh yeah.. lol It's for my ten year HS reunion, which only adds insult to injury...we're going to sit around and celebrate the fact that we're old(er). lol

I keep hoping the dog will grow some thumbs and be like 'dammit Mom, I am sick of this friggin' mess!' and clean it all up! Instead, she's no better, lying on the chair across from me, and hasn't moved in hours.

 

Well I've got my mother and sister coming in for my daughter's 18th birthday next month. Mom is staying in a hotel despite the fact that I have plenty of room, which tells you all you need to know there. Then I'm pretty sure my little sister is going to stay with me for about 6 months. She's living in Virginia, and is ending a 5 year relationship and needs some time and support to get back on her feet before she returns home to Austin. She's actually a lot of fun to have around though and no trouble, plus I'm looking forward to her being single, her man is a selfish ass.

Uhm, I've studied bunch of sociology and it's very interesting, but I had to read some stuff for my cultural anthropology exam 4 my social work degree and was very interested but I thought I would have to get the whole anthropology degree to study something like that... but.... voilà! They made a new one that seems just for me
