    You serious?

Sounds like you just taking responsibility to keep a relationship alive. And im assuming its natural and unforced which makes ALL the difference.

same here on the red flags making sure you have a quality person in your life. need to be more in tuned with that. also need to learn the art of the sell. meaning its not what you say its how you say it.

be more patient. having a daughter will get you there.

I have some of the same faults as both the women and men have already listed. One of the biggest ones is that I am very independent and I've learned that men, in general, like to be needed thus I am learning how to ask for help even if I don't need it.

It's almost a game I play (in my own mind). I ask for help, he helps and I get to watch him all happy and proud and it benefits me because it's helping me. So hey, I've been missing out lol.

I also hold back, especially in the beginning and tend to take a long time to trust, if that trust is broken it is extremely difficult to regain.

it can be fun to play helpless at times;)

on the flipside lippy trusts too easily...i will believe every word you tell me until it is brought to my attention that it wasn't true...then you better watch out because one of the things i can't stand is a liar liar pants on fire...pants on fire (- liar liar) is good in some repects and lippy is happy to help you take them off

one thing i do love in a relationship is communication in all forms. pet peeve of a partner in a relationship is their unwillingness to speak about their feelings/issues/needs, so no, he would not come off as weak, if anything, he'd be stronger in my eyes.

    1. I don't trust easily. You have to prove it over and over before I am going to relax and get to that point.

    2. I am hard to get to know. I don't share everything until much later than the average person.

I find a lot of my odd qualities are things my dad had. I think most of my issues are things I "learned" from his personality and behaviors. My mom is a saint....I should have much more of her in me, I am sure.

I know you aren't asking me, but I'm answering too. I caught onto it because I want my man to do that, it's strong and up front and saves a lot of bullshit. Not weak at all.

I have sabotaged things in the past to 'save' myself from
Some real or imagined future pain. Or I shy away because I know once I give over that's it, they've got me. I am fiercely loyal from then on and I get scared of that. Lucky my man wouldn't tolerate that shot- see above, and I grew out of it.

Wow sometimes I forget deep down inside we're all still little boys and girls who are afraid of the dark and sometimes we just need someone to tell us they'll stay up with us until we fall asleep.
I'm feeling really connected to you guys right now (don't judge me lol)
