I concur with that statement. I think, for all that is said and done about America, it's better for blacks than any other country in the West. In Europe, the racism is much more covert, institutionalized and more importantly, there aren't many people like here in America that can challenge those restrictive forces. I mean, America has a large and ever grown (albeit overstated) middle class. I am not sure i can say the same for any country in Europe.

I'd take America or Canada anyday over any of those European countries, except Scandinavian ones.
