You are from the south? No for me...from Illinois close to St Louis. I understand the like crack. I ate more that I should and I have leftover for tomorrow. That's ok I went running today. But yeah. It's the best.
Not from there but I was stationed in New Orleans for 3 years. Been to Tennessee a few times and I’d go outta my way to get that every time. Any longer living there I’m sure I’d die an early, salty high blood pressure death. Still tho, fucking amazing.
Oatmeal and strawberries for breakfast. Totally slummed with Chick-Fil-A for lunch which is why I'm about to go for a run.
I could try that because it still sounds good and the only difference is a veggie of the same group. I couldn't do something like replace the broccoli with zucchini. I could replace it with cauliflower, still sounds tasty and doesn't throw the nutrition off too much. The garlic and ginger also sounds good together.
Asian soup my Filipino friend gave me the recipe for. It has shrimp, bok choy, chayote, ginger, onion etc...
If anyone ever feels like posting pics of the awesome sounding dishes you make, we have a thread for that and any other creations folks want to share: https://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/threads/share-your-creations.21941/
I have done different versions. Today I put baby spinach, tomatoes, garlic and spring onions in it. With a dressing from Balsamico vinegar, olive oil, salt, black pepper. But I have also done it with bell pepper, tomatoes, red onion, garlic and even aragula, if you like.
Thanks; sounds good. I haven't tried it with Balsamic vinegar, so I definitely need to give it a try. The last one I threw together had cucumber, tomato, red onion, with olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, and a bit of salt & pepper. I like to try different things with them, but I can also eat chickpeas right out of the can. lol
