I wish my cost of living was that low too. I just burned through at least 3000 grand in one month. Whoever said that in south florida must have a secret that most of us do not know. Housing is at least 1000 in a regular area. As many new yorkers have said about Florida's public transportation system, It is garbage. You don't have a car. You are pretty much screwed. Some areas don't have any at all. Gas is crazy high. I really don't know who said 2000gs. Don't forget the insurance for the car. Fort Lauderdale is rated the worse place to drive in the usa. We had the highest number of deaths in car accidents. Amazingly Miami was not even on the list. Guess how high our car insurance rates are. I am not even getting into regular stuff(food, personal care products, etc)
