WW what do you think of all the topics on BW?

i experienced that same kind of non acceptance from blacks so I just moved on, and dated who accepted me, whites and hispanics. I aint mad at em though, perhaps they all had so many problems in their lives they didnt like themselves.

i did have some great black teachers however and they supported me as I went through school. One even tried to have her daughter go with me to prom. I was willing to take her, but I wasnt black enough for her and she didnt want to be seen as uncool by her friends.

 

It is sad but it is more common than you might think. My male cousins all experienced it too.

 

i didnt have a choice, there were very few blacks where I lived and they were all color and look struck. So I didnt give up on black women, I just never had much interaction with them until college.

in college, it was all black at one and a few blacks at the other. but the experience was much the same. they thought I should act stereotypically and when I didnt, they rejected me. so I prayed for them and moved on--didnt hate them, just didnt waste any more time

 

esp when the whites, hispanic and asians were more than interested in going out with a brotha
