"botoan, post: 381796"]Your experiences mirror those that the WW I have dated. I dated a younger WW through the encouragement of some mutual friends. When we started to date she wanted to show me off to all of her friends. She would tell everybody about me, even strangers. We lived in the same small town and we knew a lot of the same people. So, she was shocked that many of the white people that spoke highly of me as a person before we started seeing each other, attacked her for dating me.
Her family was openly racist, but she thought that most other people did not have the same feelings. She began to see that many people accept black men on certain levels but, when it comes to sex, marriage, and bi-racial children all of the sudden everyone has an opinion and it was often negative.
I have posted before of my admiration for WW who have the commitment and strength to fight for their right to love BM or whomever they please. In a society that still wants to limit and control BM (even Pres. Obama takes more shit than a bellhop!) it is pleasing to be accepted completely, without limitations by so many beautiful women.
