Good point my scholarly friend, however, the more population you have especially in uncontrolled population through illegal immigration the more resources will be needed and consumed. We are seeing that in states like California who will let the whole fucking world into their state. We cannot let all the world in without controls. The Europeans are finding this out now with the tide coming in from the Middle East and Northern Africa. White Europe is on the decline and yes by 2050 the third world will dominant them as will be the case in this United States. What the fuck is wrong with people who do not see things long term (no wonder the Asians are beating our know nothing behinds for they are long term planners and strategists) The dumb Americans see things only in the short immediate terms. Ann Coulter is right on, we are going to become a third world hell hole. Blacks at the bottom will truly be at the bottom in the long term because much of tide that will change the demographic could give a shit about them anyway. By the way the current narrative about who commits the most crime coming from Hispanic organizations (subtle of course) are pointing out that blacks commit most of the crime in this country not the poor hard working family oriented Hispanics who want a better life.

AMES, IOWA — Donald Trump launched an outrageous assault on the war record of former prisoner of war Sen. John McCain on Saturday — and ended up shooting himself in the foot.

“He’s not a war hero," Trump said dismissively of McCain, who spent more than five years being tortured as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and suffered permanent injuries as a result.

Trump, who received a number of deferments to avoid serving in Vietnam, backtracked slightly after drawing boos.


“He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured,” he said, to a mix of laughs and jeers from the several hundred social conservatives gathered at the Family Leadership Summit

 

The far right's love of hyperbole and disdain for critical and scientific thinking will be their undoing. I wonder what the anti-environment sector of their party will say when they have no water? The more Trump and his ilk keep their inanities on the front page, the more reasonable minds will shy away from them.

C'mon.....You guys are only telling half the story.....You make no mention that McCain initiated the fracas with remarks about Trump.....And since when has McCain become your war hero......
I agree that Trumps off-the cuff responses will eventually capsize his ship but this is his style and registered voters will make the call to eliminate him when the time comes...Republican and independent voters will have to weigh if the unapologetic and brash Don as a leader is worth the gamble on the ticket against Hillary.......

 

Trump could have easily left his criticism of McCain to the topic of McCain's political record but in true Trump fashion, he decided to be as tasteless and ignorant as possible in attacking McCain's military record. Meanwhile Trump was given what, four deferments during Vietnam? If he's going to criticize someone else for fighting he may want to make sure that he isn't massive hypocrite first.

I didn't vote for McCain in 2008 but he would have probably had my vote back in 2000 if he'd won the nomination. I have no doubt that he would have ended up being a better president than Bush. Sadly, '08 McCain had to play to the far right and he chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. Personally, I have always had the utmost respect for the man's military career and his service to our country but there was just no way that I could support him by the time the '08 election rolled around.

Think back four years or so during the last election when Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann led polls. Where are they now? Remember, polls this early out tell us almost nothing about the actual race, which is still over a year away. Hell, we probably won't even have a Republican candidate til next May or June.

The argument cannot be made that he does not care about veterans because he has a record of donating to them generously over the years.......To be specific: McCain said Trumps position on illegal aliens had energize the crazies
(meaning the Trumps 15,000 anit-immigrant supporters in that auditorium).....So Trump struck back at McCain personally, NOT AT VETERANS
........Ironically McCain himself, a powerful senate chairman has been a less than average advocate for veterans.......

Damn he had a juggernaught this weekend before he committed an unforced error because of his gahdamn ego!!!! How could it hurt to be humble for once and take the high road? Surprise the press and media by being self-deprecating for a change?? Now I doubt he will ever recover from this misstep to recover to the tempo he had Saturday morning (SMDH)
