    Goodlove,
If he is strongly disliked by his establishment party leadership and strategist. ...and he is vilified widely by the mainstream press and the entire Democratic party,. .... how does it serve Donald Trump to let his success with supporters be JUST AN EGO THANG in toying with the election. ....

He talked about running for prez since the dawn of time.

Exactly. Trump has an ego the size of Jupiter. Every single thing that he does is for attention.

It is indisputable that the man is driven by an enormous ego....but what we see now is that this whole thing has morphed into something more. .....

Honestly? I think that Trump knows that he isn't going to get the nomination and that he's pretty surprised by his poll results so far. The GOP has a vested interest in Trump getting out of the race sooner rather than later and once the race starts to actually heat up, he'll find himself falling further and further behind.

    Agree completely.^
He's not polished enough, and he speaks before he thinks. ..Or speaks without filter. Unapologetically un-PC in a country that is increasingly offended by the minutia.
Which is a shame, because If he actually put some effort into articulating how to fix the country using his business acumen, he might have given the GOP contenders a run for their money.

Warren Buffett is about as liberal as a 1 percenter can be.
He supported Obama and ripped McCain in 2008. He pays his required taxes, or so I've heard.

The left doesn't hate rich folks. To quote Prince,

'just the greedy, the ones that don't know how to give.'

Yep, definitely. And unlike Trump, Buffet isn't a self-aggrandizing asshole like Trump is. He's also in favor ot a much more progressive tax structure than most other billionaires.

    Card carrying Dem, he ain't.

You really don't become a multi-Billionaire by being a nice guy. His business practices have been ruthless - and they had to be. He only recently began giving away his wealth..but before that, amassing $61 billion tells you he is/ was certainly one greedy man. Hey, he told his kids they're on their own in life... yeah....so imagine him telling American lefties that...

He said he made his money saving, then creating small businesses...the antithesis of the Left. Spend, you didn't build that, don't sacrifice, or save, and don't tell people you're on your own to make your own.

ps: correction; the Left hate rich Republicans.

Of course u have to be cut throat to be in business but that doesnt mean you cant be a leftie

I don't think he is greedy. He just loves what he does.

What has he done that's ruthless?

In his business dealings he was beholden to shareholders, and unopologetically cut workers jobs, and he advocated high interest rates be given to the poor.
Look, no one wants to see how the watch is made. He is admired because of his philanthropy, and his spoken market and business philosophies. But when you peel back the layers, he's not too much different than all the rest of big Corp business men/owners, including Trump.

He is the greatest value investor in stock market history, that's the difference.

The guy is what, 80 years old...we know the modern day Buffet. You can't tell me that any one human who amazes $61 Billion isn't greedy. How do you deny your kids a share if you don't have a bit of a ruthless streak? (only recently did he give them more money).

I admire him for what he's achieved, don't get me wrong...but you can't espouse Buffet, but then diss Trump. Both are slick.
