OK, I see what you're saying, but if you recall, I was one of the ones who defended your thread about the Ugly Duckling Syndrome, but how do we know whether or not this applies to leksie? She's from Australia (for one thing) she's also stated that she doesn't see herself as 'god's gift to black men' or somethin' and she hasn't flamed Sengo in a feminist, stereotypical rant about black men/women this and white men/women that, like your buddy 'Free/snowbunny' did before (I'm sure you remember her don't you?) and you would have to conclude that SHE was an Ugly Duckling of the worst kind.

 

And, as a side note, I don't see you as a lazy person, and although I agree with you about Sengo's points, I don't agree with you or him about them in regards to leksie. That's what I 've been saying.

I'll state it again in different words. You are jumping to conclusions about what leksie said. And, as for MissB, well, she's a lil' miss devil's adovcate anyway :wink:, so don't worry about her.

 

... what i said is in general terms, it could apply to her, maybe it couldn't, fact remains white woman is not exempt from being bitter or ambivalents towards white man, no matter how much they project onto others, no race is exempt from bad feelings towards the opposite gender their own race... but you never hear about black man not wanting to date a white woman who is bitter or resentful to white men, or maybe men in general...

 

You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. You don't hear about white women being bitter towards white men, the way black women/ black men are, towards one another when typically deciding to date interracially (which is a problem in our society among OTHER things) but guess what? You don't have to hear it from them. Just take a gander at all of these feminazis in the world. Who are they predominately? Yep, you guessed it, and who do they judge ALL men by, because of what white men put them though? Yep, you guessed it again, and once again, you don't have to hear about it from them, because most of these white women(Americans) won't even bother to bring up white men, or even skin color, when ranting and whining about men in general, and because of preconceived notions of white men being some sort of Alpha/Omega male portrayed by the American media and Eurocentricism, it's highly unlikely if these same white women you speak of, will ever come to their senses about their lame projecting onto black men over and over again.

But, as far as I know, leksie doesn't fit this mold, nor does MissB, so I won't claim that they do, at least for now.

 

So you're just talking about alpha-males? I don't see why you need to use a whole new word to confuse matters. The logic works, except that (a) not every person in the world believes the idea of a 'hierarchy' of humans, where white comes out top, I certainly don't, although that appears to be a majority opinion of society, but was never brought up to think that way, and (b) I might actually prefer to snag the alpha black male than the alpha white male! And an alpha male is one which women will gravitate to, that's your sole criteria? On that basis, I think my boy would win through!

 

Hmph I wasn't devils advocating in this thread, only got involved because I thought leksie was getting a rough deal.

 

I know why you posted in here. I was explaining to Sengo how you like to play the devil's advocate in some of the threads since he misunderstood you and leksie.

 

There is no difference in "superlative" and "alpha" they both connote the same thing, which is high quality. Also, I have explained in depth what constitutes an alpha male, and how other men try to emulate its functioning "Player theory" aka "Game theory" in another one of these topics, but I haven't the time to look for it.

 

Here is my opinion of the "Alpha Male."

7Seven, I appreciate the effort but that quote was meaningless. You failed at any point to say what the alpha male WAS but only how men who were frauds would emulate it.

Every woman has their own idea of what an alpha male is. I happen to think that my man is not perfect, but he is definitely an alpha, regardless of what colour he is.

dude, what language are you speaking, can you make a clear english sentence without trying to add words to make it sound like you are intellectual? just talk plainly and we can tell whether you are smart or not.

 

Confidence, decisiveness (dominance), reputation, money and power?

You can't fault the first two as valuable character traits but they can also go too far, to become bossy and uncompromising, which I can't say anyone I've known finds very desirable. Reputation? Fleeting, and valueless. Money? What a shallow requirement. Power? What kind of power? Intellectual power, power in the work place, these are good. But a megalomaniac? No thank you, who wants a relationship which consists of a power struggle? I can't believe you don't think OTHER qualities constitute a real alpha male, qualities which encompass and face up to some of the problems identified in the modern world and society, even if they might be seen as 'feminine' in some way.

To be fair, your grammar and sentence structure is awful - but I've had to mark and comprehend the work of children in grade school, so I can decipher it just fine!
