i personally find black women with natural short afro to be very sexy and the most attractive and very dark is my choice type of black woman. I guess having lived in latin america and the carribean and country southern people who are not into the anglofication of themselves.

just as I love white women who are being themselves, i like black women the same way.

i am so with you on this sistah, I have so many female cousins, aunts, and sisters and I am very protective. I want them to meet men( of any race) who are going to treat them with respect and care. The character of the man has to be more important than his money, his education, his car, his clothes, hair and good looks. Character, integrity, honor, respect, honesty, faith. without them, he doesnt even get on the porch.

where are the sistah like you, besides my sisters and cousins? living in a big city it is hard to find them. most I see on the street are cursing, sleeping and shacking up. I know there are many more good sisters out there, stand up and dont let the bad overshadow the awesome black women who are out there.

    you are a dear

Wow, a man can only dream of a woman so good. i know there are many blackwomen out there like you, but you all dont get the positive attention, only the bad ones do.

Folks, don`t miss the new best-seller by Brownie, "The Art of Rubbing Yourself with Compliments And Making Yourself Feel Gooooooood"

I know, the title is a bit long, but the book seems interesting...now, don`t forget that u shouldn't`t just look at the cover! :)

Oh by the way, Tucker read it...He LOVES IT!!!

I`m not at odds with Brownie...and of course u people should distinguish irony from serious talk right? I know u didn`t write a book Brownie...

But, well, when I read ur last post...hmmm...well, if it doesn`t sound like u r the BEST BW out there while the "BAD ONES" as u say get all the credence...

I wonder what gives u the right - unless of course u consider urself a very "GOOD ONE" - to label some BW out there as "BAD ONES"

What is bad for u might be good for others...ur tone, to me, sounds a bit (a lot???) condescending!! a little bit of humility, pleaaaaaaaaaaase

Ok...now u can thrash me Brownie...but I just speak my mind...no hatred, just observations!!

Well dear Tucker, America loooooooooooves drama...u were born here u probably know that!!! :)

I'm glad to see black women like Brownie, Justhereforaminute and Lexington here. This site desperately needs the balance and perspectives they bring. One of the reasons I stopped posting for awhile was because the same old people were taking over the site and telling others what they should think or talk about. Some people (like poor Iffy's Wifey) gave up posting entirely. And I almost did the same thing.

During my time away, I had lots of fun but it also was a time of reflection. I may still be attracted to white women, but not at the expense of the feelings of black women. It serves no purpose to bash bw while in the process of meeting ww. Yeah, I'm sure that I will have future disagreements with Lexington but I'm really glad she's here. If anything, my time away from this site helped bring me closer to bw even though I'm just as attracted to ww as I've ever been.

    Wow...I like ur eloquence Brownie...nice...
Do I know that bad people (men or women) exist? I sure do...
Do I wanna say on a post how great I am unlike these "bad ones"? NO, I don`t...well people are different!

MY post wasn`t attacking BW folks...I think I was actually against that cliche notion of "BAD BW"...
Do I love to see BM and BW get along?? I love it...and I`m sure that Brownie and I will get along...great minds always do no? :)

NOW...there are what u called "BAD ONES" in all races right? but in ur post u were specifically mentioning that u were good, and so on, unlike these "BAD BW"...that get all the credence...I`m sorry but if that isn`t very judgmental and condescending...well...

I have too much respect for the human beings to place myself as a judge of who is right or wrong unless is really blatant!! like I said, what is bad for u might be good for others...I`ve known good people who did very bad things and vice-versa...it happens!!!

Labels are terrible..no one is BAD or GOOD forever...we are humans, so we are sometimes right, sometimes (most of the time) WRONG and SELFISH

Ok to finish, my first post was very ironic...wasn`t supposed to make anybody angry, but make people look at some assertions we make with a different angle!...

Again, it was based on OBSERVATION...of what u wrote, no assumption...unless u didn`t mean what u wrote...

    Sorry if I seemed offensive...I`m anti-war...here and everywhere! :)

It's too bad that most of the black women who come in here aren't a lot like brownie, otherwise, this site would have even less problems with trolls and discussions that turn into a race war.

hey sistah why do you think bw think they have to be hard and put up a guard? It is helping to tear the black community apart, along with black men not being responsible.

Probably because of the way the 'massa' used to put black women in charge over black men long ago, as a way to 'keep en eye on the Mandingo sub-human', so to speak, along with all of the dysfunctional ghetto lifestyle as a result of slavery, and the media's brainwashing.

massa did? when did he do dat? i have a masters in American history of the South, slavery and reconstruction, i dont think that is accurate--but if you hve info please share. always good to hear new research

i hear you brownie, but like I said before, its because sistahs always want the shiftless trash that are flashy, driving a fancy car, dressed and hair done and they dont want the hardworking, plain looking, nerdy brotha.

even in comedy, the nerds on shows like urkel or in living color are never given the time of day by a sistah. isnt it the responsibility of the woman choosing a mate to make sure he has high character, morals, hardworking, kind, not flashy?

even if I did date black women, which i wasnt opposed to before, I still got treated horribly by them in college. I respected their choice but I never understood their claim that brothas were no good but they kept choosing the bad ones
